Police have arrested two men after counterfeit bills were found inside an apartment.
After detectives received information from an interview, a search warrant was issued for an apartment in the 700 block of South Duluth Avenue. When officers arrived, a man was spotted leaving with a duffle bag. Police said at least two of the six guns found inside were stolen.
Inside the apartment, detectives found a few counterfeit $20 bills along with sheets of uncut fake $20 bills and a printer. Approximately five grams of marijuana was found, as well.
Matthew Eugene Marshall was arrested at the home and charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Nicolas Allyn Wingler, 18, is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a forged instrument, possessing a counterfeit device and distribution of marijuana.
Police said that those arrested aren't connected with a recent rash of counterfeit $100 bills found at Sioux Falls businesses.
