Police in Sioux Falls will be conducting training exercises for the next week.
The Sioux Falls Police Department tweeted on Wednesday to let the public know that armed officers will be used during the training.
The SWAT team will be operating in central Sioux Falls. Police said the public may also hear explosions while officers are training.
Police spokesperson Sam Clemens said officers will be training on different breaching techniques.
