You might remember our recent report about a nail salon that closed after failing inspections. But it's not the only salon in Sioux Falls that's faced problems.
Over the past six months, nearly a third of all nail salons in the city have failed inspections.
A salon owner who passed says you should watch to see if a nail technician washes his or her hands before doing your manicure or pedicure. Also make sure all of the tools are sanitized and the pedicure tub is clean.

If you enjoy getting a manicure or pedicure, you won't want to miss our special Eye on KELOLAND. In Pampering, Not Pain we'll look into the red flags that your salon is not paying attention to your safety. That's tonight on KELOLAND News at 10.
