A familiar face to KELOLAND is this years Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year. Jason Aldean says he didn't think it was in the cards for him to win but he beat out Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks and Eric Church for the honor. Aldean has performed twice in Sioux Falls at Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Chris Stapleton won so many awards that Kimberley Schlapman of Little Big Town thanked him for not being a group so they could win one. Stapleton won album, song, male vocalist and new male vocalist of the year.
Miranda Lambert won female vocalist of the year for the seventh year in a row. Thomas Rhett won single of the year for "Die A Happy Man." Eric Church won video of the year for "Mr. Misunderstood," and Florida Georgia Line won vocal duo of the year.
