As early as Sunday afternoon, fans hoping to catch Paul McCartney at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center lined up at the KELOLAND Box Office for a chance at tickets.

When Paul McCartney picked Sioux Falls for a concert date, Eva Voorhees knew she had to be the first in line to get a ticket. That's why she showed up at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center yesterday afternoon.

Holsen: So did you spend the night out here?

Eva Voorhees: Yes.

Holsen: How was that?

Voorhees: Kind of chilly.

Luckily the crowd that grew to about 200 moved inside early this morning and were greeted with donuts and orange juice. And shortly after, Voorhees had in hand what she came for.

Holsen: What are you looking forward to?

Voorhees: Oh probably grabbing my husband and maybe dancing to one of the songs. Crying a little bit. Screaming a lot. Just a lot of emotions. I've not slept outside for another entertainer since Elvis Presley. So that says a lot.

With her husband at work, Haley Vanderpol was tasked with getting seats. She even had a strategy for keeping her young daughter in high spirits.

"I'm entertaining her with some ponies and princess games," Vanderpol said.

All in an effort to see what will be a once in a lifetime event in Sioux Falls.

"It's a big deal. I was shocked actually that it was coming. We decided that if it's a Monday night that we can be tired the next day for Paul McCartney," Vanderpol said.

According to PREMIER Center staff, everybody in line this morning was able to get tickets.
