Sioux Falls Police made three DUI arrests during a Saturday night saturation patrol.
Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said that number is lower than recent patrols, but he said lower arrest numbers have been seen before. The patrol started at 7 p.m., hours after the St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Sioux Falls, and lasted through 3 a.m. Sunday.
Fifteen officers involved in the patrol issued 117 citations. Of those, 20 tickets were issued for no insurance, 17 for speeding, and 6 for not wearing seatbelts.
