The production facility for Dakota Style Foods in Clark was destroyed by an overnight fire.
Fire officials in Clark tell KELOLAND News when they arrived shortly after 1:30 Sunday morning, the main production building was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to save two other storage buildings on the property. There were no injuries and no one was working at the time.
The South Dakota Fire Marshal's office has been called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
Dakota Style Foods is known for the Dakota Style chips and sunflower seeds. The company has been around since 1985. In a statement, the company announced the loss would affect chip production, but they would still be able to produce their sunflower seeds.
