You've likely heard the saying: "It's never the right time to have a baby."
A Sioux Falls couple could have definitely said that when they decided to adopt.
Patrick and Laura Munson already had three biological kids, and Patrick was training to become a doctor. The couple felt called to adopt though when they heard about the foster care crisis in our country.
"Once we learned that there are over 100,000 children here in the United States, right in our back yard, who need to be adopted, we just couldn't not do anything," Laura said.
This month, the couple is getting national recognition for their contribution to adoption. Hear their story tonight on Eye on KELOLAND at 10.
