Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Aberdeen overnight.
Attorney General Marty Jackley confirmed with KELOLAND News that the Department of Criminal Investigation, along with other law enforcement agencies, are looking into an officer-involved shooting.
The Aberdeen Police responded to a disturbance call to an apartment building on Marshall Street in Aberdeen just after midnight Sunday. Making contact with a suspect, 21-year-old Ehkhu Poe, led to an officer firing his weapon. Poe was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Law enforcement has blocked off the area of Marshall Street and 4th Avenue SE as they continue to investigate.
