Police say a man accused of killing two teenagers whose bodies were found behind a grocery store in Atlanta's suburbs is still being held in a city jail, but will be transferred to a larger jail at some point.
Roswell police said Thursday morning that 20-year-old Jeffrey A. Hazelwood would be moved from their lockup to the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, but they won't say when due to "safety reasons."
Hazelwood was arrested Wednesday on two counts of murder in the Monday slayings of Carter Davis and Natalie Henderson. The teens, both 17, were shot once in the head.
Roswell police Det. Zachary Frommer said Thursday police won't discuss any motive, nor will they comment on the relationship, if any, between Hazelwood and the teens.
A service has been scheduled for Henderson. She would have been a senior this year at Roswell High School.
Davis, who lived in Rapid City, South Dakota, during part of his high school years, was about to start his senior year at River Ridge High School in Woodstock.
