Minnesota's professional soccer team is making international headlines after a botched throw.
In a friendly game between Minnesota FC and AFC Bournemouth, goalie Sammy Ndjock accidentally threw the ball into his own goal. After he saw a teammate pushing up the pitch, Ndjock changed his mind mid throw and gave the visitors an early 2-0 lead.
The visitors from England eventually won the match 4-0.
But Ndjock and the team are in good spirits after the game, posting this video on its Facebook page:
The team was founded in 2010 in the North American Soccer League. The Loons will join Major League Soccer as an expansion team.
