A playground dedicated to a Rapid City child lost in an accident is just short of becoming a reality.
A Safe Place For Seth is a playground project dedicated to 2-year-old Seth Brien, who was struck and killed by a car in north Rapid City in February. A fundraiser has raised nearly $10,000 for the $12,000 project.
Volunteers, many of them Rapid City firefighters, will construct the playground, which is expected to by ready by August.
