Sioux Falls is one step closer to an indoor aquatics center.
Crews have filled up the 50-meter lap pool for testing.
While there is still work to be done, city leaders say everything is going as scheduled.
"The contractors are working very well together; it's coming together really flawlessly from our perspective and we couldn't be happier about how it's going so far," Sioux Falls Parks and Rec Director Don Kearney said.
If the work continues to move at this pace, the Midco Aquatic Center will open this coming fall.
In addition to the lap pool, there will be a water slide, a therapy pool and even a concession stand.
